A mighty fortress

Set in Europe during the darkly romantic 17th century. The Thirty Years War, The Eighty Years War, The English Civil War. This is the period of history in which I have the deepest knowledge. Sadly, I am the only person I know that has any interest in this period, so there is little point in spending too much time developing the idea. TSR produced a short run supplement for the period called A Mighty Fortress, which is a quote from Luther, from a psalm.
